Brian Fish joins Keystone Real Estate Group as sales associate

Keystone Real Estate Group today announced that Brian Fish has joined the firm as sales associate.

“Brian is an accomplished professional who brings a strategic, yet personal, approach to the home buying and selling process,” said Daniel Awde, president and principal broker. “As a Rhode Island native from Wakefield, and a graduate of Roger Williams University, he brings extensive local knowledge of the South County and Aquidneck Island areas.”

Brian draws from his experience working in property management and business consulting.

Betsy Morrison named sales associate

Keystone Real Estate Group today announced that Betsy Morrison has joined the firm as sales associate.

“Betsy’s commercial real estate finance background well prepared her for the brokerage realm,” said Dan Awde, president and principal broker. “Her strengths are accuracy, detail, follow through and implementation.”

Morrison’s real estate specialty is multifamily, for profit and not-for profit development.

Previously holding positions involving for- profit development for 15 years both as a lender and working with developers, her career transitioned to the nonprofit sector.

The following seven years were spent assisting in development and asset management for a not-for-profit developer, strengthening her conventional debt skills while gaining extensive experience in equity sources, including low income housing tax credits, state and federal historic tax credits, new market tax credits and renewal energy sources. 

Morrison’s commercial real estate experience has included historical rehabilitation of vacant mill property, new construction and acquisition of market, cash flow property.

Betsy is licensed in Rhode Island and Florida.

Jean Allard Earns NAR Pricing Strategy Advisor Certification

Jean Allard with Keystone Real Estate Group has earned the nationally recognized Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) certification.

The National Association of REALTORS® offers the PSA certification to REALTORS® as determining property values depends more than ever on professional expertise and competence, the best use of technology, and a commitment to approach the pricing assignment from various perspectives.

“The market demands accurate property value assessments, so NAR is excited to provide realtors with enhanced tools, education and expertise to determine the most accurate value for a home and give their clients a leg up when buying or selling,” said NAR President Tom Salomone, broker-owner of Real Estate II Inc. in Coral Springs, Florida.

“Pricing Strategies: Mastering the CMA” is the required one-day course for the PSA certification that provides REALTORS® with knowledge and skills to select appropriate comparables and make accurate adjustments, guide sellers and buyers through the details of comparative market analyses and the underlying pricing principles that inform them, and interact effectively with appraisers.

In addition to completing the course, participants are required to view two required webinars. Once awarded the certification, REALTORS® will be equipped to guide clients through the anxieties and misperceptions they often have about home values.
